-Electing the Chair and Deputy Chair.
-Nominations and endorsements for President, Senate, House, Governor of Lincoln, and Lincoln Assembly.
-To consider additions and changes to the party platform and bylaws.

Ok. I believe that we should allow another 24 hours for nominations.
I nominate Mike Wells to be Chair and I would like to run for Deputy Chair once again. I'm not interested in being Chair as of now.

Please note that members have until 3PM EDT to announce their nominations for Chair and Deputy Chair. That's about 2 hours! If you don't like the current nominees then you need to nominate candidates!

I am seeking the endorsement of the Progressive Union Party due to my policy positions on the environment, social issues, education, and infrastructure.
Sorry, but Clyde automatically gets the endorsement.

Something that I would like to bring up now as not to waste time later is that I believe we should vote on a city for our next convention at the end of this one.

I would ask that these nominations be withheld until the end, I'm technically not even allowed to do that, I'm just bringing that up.

Consistent with my campaign promise to appoint a Lt. Governor from the PUP, I humbly come before the Progressive Union Party to ask your preference for the Lt. Governor of Lincoln if I am elected.

Which member of the Lincoln Assembly do you suggest to be appointed?
You'll have to wait until after the election first.

Some things I would like to suggest for our platform:
-Phasing out fossil fuel based power plants for clean and renewable sources, using a combination of solar, wind, hydro, tidal, thermal, and nuclear.
-Training programs for fossil fuel industry workers to help them become employed in modern industries.
-Modernization of Atlasian infrastructure.
-Ensuring the rights of LGBT people and reducing discrimination.
-Updating school curriculum for modern times and take steps to prevent low income students from receiving lower quality education.
-Closing tax loopholes used by corporations and the wealthy.
-Auditing government departments, particularly defense, to find and eliminate unnecessary spending.
-Streamline the immigration process to encourage legal immigration, allow those here illegally to become legal citizens, and encourage asylum seekers to come into Atlasia.
-Don't start unwarranted wars.
-Expand our global research partnerships.

Sorry that this is late, I got caught up in the election business, but here are the results of the voting for our next convention location:

Greenville: 3
Minneapolis: 5
St. Louis: 2

Our next convention in August will take place in Minneapolis, MN, Fremont.

Chairman Wells has informed me that there are no additional topics that he would like to bring up, so this convention has officially concluded.
