Probably because they're described as "economic nationalist" and "anti-globalist" which is what matters most to the atlas mainstream left these days.

They're also described on Wikipedia as "Neo-Nazi."

I voted for the Movement for Change.
That isn't what seems to matter anymore. There were "progressives" that said they'd support Le Pen so it isn't inconceivable.
