Nevada is the perfect example of how low-taxes and less regulation can lead to damaging consequences to local economies in the long-term. Without any focus on sustainable growth, Nevada will struggle economically in the future no matter who is in charge. But I don't think that the whole government-stay-out view works as we have seen through the deregulation policies that led to such damaging results in the South and West.
