Gotta love how we've lived through three years of Trump, the politician with a contempt for the press that he isn't even half-capable of disguising, and we still have blue avatars here seriously trying to push the braindead "he was joking, take him seriously not literally" angle.
edited to add: especially when the comment we're supposed to take as a joke is about violence against the press, which Trump couldn't quite bring himself to fully condemn when the Saudis killed a dissident journalist.
