Good way to deflect from the first job losses in 7 years.
There;s no serious economist who thinks that wasn't because of Harvey and Irma.
There were no job losses after any of the hurricanes that occurred during Obama's administration. Trump was supposed to be this outstanding businessman that would create great prosperity, yet we see job losses not even a year into his term. Maybe there is some validity to the hurricane claim, but politically it's a poor excuse. When you build yourself up as so grand, there are no excuses for job losses.
Are you being serious? Attributing the job losses during one of the worst hurricane months of this century, which hit population centers in two of the largest states in the country, to anything other than hurricanes is r/the_donald or Breitbart levels of stupid. Like, I don't like Trump either but come on man. September is typically a month with job "losses" because college and high school kids are coming off summer vacations. Add to that the fact that Florida had gas stations that went over a week without getting gas and Houston was underwater for days and it's pretty obvious how there were job losses in September.
