While I don't like minimum wage much as a concept, $15 minimum wage likely won't really cause much issues at all in today's economy, especially if done over a period of 3 years. Even in rural areas, the 25%+ cumulative inflation since 2020 has brought prices and wags up a lot.

$15 minimum wage as a proposal now is very different from 2016.
