Who's going to remember who Mark Warner is in 2020?

(Heck, who's going to remember who Mike Huckabee is in 2012?)

If he returns to the Governor's Mansion in 2009 elections, or becomes a U.S. Senator in the future, it is unlikely that he would simply fall off of the political map.  As for Huckabee, they said similar things about Bob Dole after 1976, 1980, and 1988.  They also said the same thing about Al Gore after 1988.
