Each of the boroughs is so diverse that it's impossible to rank them, but I'd probably prefer to live in Brooklyn, get a cheap place in Bed-stuy before it gets gentrified. It's amazing how in just 2 blocks you can go from a scene where all you see is well-dressed trendy young people having expensive drinks out on the sidewalk to a scene you'd expect out of the poorest place in any American city.

The Bronx also is much safer than people give it credit for, and it's the borough I'd be second most likely to live in. What white guy wouldn't cherish the opportunity to be not only a racial minority, but not even speak the majority language?
