The oil companies win again when we call $3.80 'cheap'.
America wins when we look at Europe and they're basically paying $9 a gallon.
Yes, look at the huge crises they're in now with oil.... oh wait....
I really don't know what that's supposed to mean. These people drive much more reliable cars and Italians apparently have the most cars per person in the world yet they're still paying that much. If that's not a crisis, what is?
The $9 a gallon gas inevitably changes the mindset of the driver. They drive much smaller, more fuel-efficient cars and drive less. If you look at the numerous statistics, America consumes the most gas per capita and our economy is much more based on fuel-driven semi's.
