They are the largest employer in Orange County where most of their operations are, but nowhere near large enough to be the largest employer in the state.
I’m talking about just Disneyland but Disney as a company.

Because there is
Disney animation
Disneyland
Disney store
Disney imagineering
Disney live action

On top of that there is

Pixar
Lucasfilm
Marvel studios
Plus all the other small things that LFM runs like...

The animation and film divisions are mostly in Florida.
They used to be in the late 80s-early 2000s but not anymore.
