Freedom Fighter or Horrible Person?

Is a Freedom Fighter somebody who frees people from oppression and, after having succeded, starts to oppress them himself?

Or somebody who revolts against a elected President - doesn't matter how bad the President is - and build a semi-fascist military gouvernment like Pinochet?

I'm confused how many people consider this two guys to be Freedom Fighters!

Max, unfortunately we have a lot of communist and communist sympathizers on this board. They like fellows like Che, Hugo Chavez and Castro. We even have some fools here that like Lenin and Stalin. It's a shame really.

I'd not name Chavez in a sentence with Castro, Che, Lenin etc. because he was elected in a democratic process and doesn't kill his own country's people.

And please don't ignore that I dislike Pinochet-supporters just as much as communists.
