I am frankly baffled that anyone legitimately believes that Williamson’s performance will garner her any support beyond her existing cult following. She gave zero substantive commentary on policy and was terribly scatterbrained (talking about the moon, the power of imagination, children in New Zealand, etc.). I get that eccentricity can draw some viewers in, but...

I appreciated her sickness care line. We have a lot to do with improving the health of people in this country through cutting farm subsidies, stopping food stamp use for unhealthy food, incentivizing excersize and not smoking to receive public health coverage, and stricter chemical regulation.

I think the problem is that very few voters will say that that was their main takeaway from her debate performance.

My opinion on the performances from both nights, categorized into four groups

Noticably bolstered their candidacy: Harris, Castro

Had a small but positive effect: Warren, Booker, Gillibrand, de Blasio, Gabbard, Klobuchar, Swalwell, Buttigieg

No net effect: Sanders, Bennet, Hickenlooper, Yang, Inslee, Delaney

Hurt their candidacy: Williamson, Biden, Ryan, O’Rourke
