What if Hillary's campaign managers and spin doctors would have discovered the political newcomer Beto O'Rourke, who had already been a member of the House for almost four years after beating an incumbent in the primary, with all his rhetorical skills and his charismatic aura and his popularity among liberals and young voters.
Do you think that ticket would have beaten Trump? Could Beto have unified both wings of the party by getting back disenchanted Berniecrats? How well would they have performed in Texas?

Discuss with maps!

Are we speaking of 2016 or 2020's potential outcomes? If it's 2016, no difference. The GOP still wins. If it is 2020, then Hillary has a slightly better chance of winning.

2016. That's why I asked: "Who would have won? / Who would you have voted for?"

People would have been really confused as to why the hell Hillary was picking a no-name Congressman from Texas as her running mate.

Just like people were confused as to why McCain chose a no-name half-term governor?

Is it actually known who Beto endorsed in the presidential primaries?

"In June 2016,[63] O'Rourke endorsed Hillary Clinton for President, being one of the last Democratic congressmen to support her during the primary.[64]"

Okay, he endorsed her when her victory couldn't be taken from her anymore.
It's interesting to know ho he voted for in the Texas primary.
