I'm a bit biased because my girlfriend is from Singapore, but how the hell do you figure Singaporeans are terrible people? I've visited there 4 times and the people I came across were nicer than most people I come across in Virginia.

They imprison you for chewing gum. How does that not make you terrible?

The gum law is rarely enforced, unless you're like bringing in cases of gum. But the government does sick, and the people tolerate it. I've been to Singapore many times, and I hate it more every time I go. Plastic country, plastic people.

We've clearly had different experiences in the country.
