Does anyone know if ossoff is going to have a surplus of cash at the end? And if he does what would he do with it? Run again?

No matter who wins, they will have an insane amount of cash leftover at the end. This will probably make the seat less then competitive in 2018 as all the credible opposition is deterred by the warchest. This is similar to Fl-18 in 2014, where Murphy's huge cash pile from 2012 put off credible Republican challengers.

I'm not sure what Handel does with her money in the event of defeat, but Ossoff probably sits on his cash for a future race - he is young after all.

Can anyone tell my why precinct AP07B (central Fulton) is even legal? Not only is it not contiguous, it's in four different pieces.

There is no rules determining what makes a precinct.  Some have 0 voters in them, some have tentacles, some are disconnected. This is usually because the city decided to do some weird annexations earlier in it's life and the precinct tries to follow city lines.

Man, after watching the UK general election unfold, I have got to say (especially now) that I am jealous of how fast they manage to tabulate everything.

Uhhh what? Aside from the race in Sunderland and Newcastle, the UK is slower. Constituencies typically take 2 hours minimum to report, with many having to take 4+ for districts with less then 80K people.

WTF Atlas. Early vote drops for Fulton and Ossoff down 1: its all over for Ossoff, why did Dems waste money, nothing is good. 3% of precincts from a Dem county and the dem-leaning early vote in in SC: Dems win, strategy wrong, rurals for life?

I wonder why I even bother to sign up here in the first place.

Ossoff currently overpreforming in Cobb, probably thanks to the polling location cut.

Oh and GeorgiaModerates numbers for inperson/mail are correct if you compare the inperson to that NYT has. So we probably have the dem leaning mail and the reportedly small E-Day turnout.

Jon Ossoff (Democratic)    49.6%   64,243

Where from?
