For me it was the 2000 (general) Presidential election. I supported Gore.

Oh were you in Florida?  I heard those ballots they had in 2000 caused a lot of people to vote for Pat Buchanan.
It was reported that there were eldery Jews crying when they realized that they accidentally voted for Buchanan.
