Democratic-voting demographics tend to like policies like this. People with graduate school degrees tend to be fearful of those less educated than themselves and people who work in the school system tend to want to make schools as powerful as possible.

Not that what Harris did doesn't suck ass, but you gotta love those "progressive" purists who consider this worse than being an anti-gay religious bigot and genocide apologist.
I doubt Gabbard is that popular.

Yeah, reading some comments here one would think that Harris is more unelectable than Roy Moore.
I think Harris's big electoral weakness is that she seems like an empty suit. Current talk about Harris is very similar to how people talked about Rubio.

It kind of reminds me of the rants against candidates based on their position on school uniforms on this forum a couple of years back.
I'd like to learn more about those rants. The only candidate who I'm aware of taking any stance on school uniforms is Clinton in 1996.

It should also be mentioned that when Harris first ran for Attorney General, her platform was cracking down on truancy. Couldn't she have run on cracking down on murder instead?

Harris's logic here is how we got No Child Left Behind.
