Remind me again, why are we supposed to suddenly hate Crowley?

He's a bland machine hack who voted for the Bush tax cuts and Iraq War. Comparable to Feinstein. Not the worst Democrat in the House but no reason to not support a far more progressive challenger over him.

Yeah, but the optics of a member of leadership losing their primary would be awful.
yeah, just like 2014 everyone hated r's for primarying cantor

Joe Crowley spent over $1.1 million in the pre-primary reporting, a sign that the race is more competitive than it appears on the surface. Him and Ocasio-Cortez are having a debate tomorrow night.
I truly think AOC (my favorite progressive this cycle) can win if she does well in this debate.

What a fraud. He so transparently wants to run for President or something as a progressive, too be he has neither the heart nor the brains for it.
he doesnt know how to play politics, but he is good at crafting policy

Was thinking about endorsing Ocasio-Cortez, but not after this.

It’s a safe-blue district, so it really doesn’t matter whether AOC or Crowley endorses their opponent or not.
yeah, i always hate that type of grandstanding tho

Crowley just seems nicer, honestly. Cortez will signify a dramatic shift to the let and perpetuate a very hostile tone in the national environment. That said, it is better for Republicans for Cortez to win.
who in the hell cares about being nice???

All the mailers that Crowley has sent out to Ocasio-Cortez’s address, lol.

Makes sense. Though that is a lot of primary mail.

Primaries in safe seats like this are effectively the general election, so it makes sense to burn most of  your cash now. I'm currently working for some campaigns in Montgomery county MD, this is basically what they are doing as well.
ooh what campaign?

Joe Crowley and Yvette Clarke are awesome, and they deserve reelection, Maloney is pretty good too, but I like her opponent, but incumbency rocks so go Maloney!
no offense man, but that is pretty hackish lol
