This bill is meant to improve the Fuel Inflation Reduction Act and to empower efforts to curb man-made climate change as a result.

I'm mostly good with this, although I'm not entirely sure about the prohibition of new pipeline. While we should be working to reduce fossil fuel consumption, from what I understand in the meantime pipelines are a more environmentally friendly way of transporting oil and gas than the alternatives. Would someone else care to elaborate on this provision?

I need clarification here, since I got rather confused when reading the Wiki verision of the Red-Green New Deal Act. What exactly does this bill change from the existing version? Aren't the parts I see in green already part of the law?

This re-adds sections removed from the original bill last year afaik.
