After winning the nomination, he can then gravitate skillfully back to the center, which is where this election will be won or lost.  

Unless Romney knows a great wizard that has the ability to make the world forget everything this is impossible for him to do.

You overestimate the attention span of the American public.

Karl Rove and Co. got George W. Bush elected TWICE. Imagine what we can do with an articulate, tall, handsome candidate.
