Is Bloomberg going to try to redpill the entire Democratic Party on 13/50 next?

You know, I'm warming up to ol' Bloomie. If the Democrats pick him, I'm sure the American people will see that it's due to genuine conviction and not a shameless attempt to find a left-wing version of Trump. After Democrats spent four years b!tching nonstop about Trump doing all of these things, I'm sure it won't look at all hypocritical when they nominate someone who has an almost identical profile. I mean, at least they wouldn't be picking Sanders. THAT would be electoral suicide!

You realize that the Sanders crowd savaged Yang to death, right?

Damn, I knew there was a reason Yang didn't win this primary. Turns out it was those pesky BernieBros on Twitter!

Bloomberg, awful as he is, is not even remotely as bad as Trump nor are the two particularly similar.  I get that the Bernie camp is gonna be pushing this narrative as hard as they can and that makes sense from a strategic perspective, but it's also a load of BS.

The complacency of the center-left in this country never fails to astound me. Why do people keep trying to revive the "At least our guy is better than the other guy" argument? It has never worked; it failed miserably in 2016 and it will fail again because turnout among your base can only be increased by putting forth a positive argument for your candidate. If you hate Trump and everything he stands for, the way to excite the base and present a credible case against him is to contrast with him, not to capitulate to the style of politics he's created and to compromise all of your morals in exactly the same way Republicans have.

Jesus effing Christ, isn't this common sense?

You don’t have to convince me, Chief; I’m not a Bloomberg supporter Tongue  I just think he’s far better than Trump.

I think you are underestimating just how stupid Democrats will look if they nominate a racist/sexist billionaire in 2020 after four years of (apparently feigned) outrage.

Is that supposed to be the battle for the soul of the Democratic Party?  Ironic how nobody on the right side has a red avatar.

No joke: I did that specifically to see if you'd be petty enough to bring it up.

« Edited: February 20, 2020, 01:57:01 AM by Michael R. Bloomberg 2020! »

Bloomberg was supposed to be Mr. Ruthless Efficiency, Mr. Killer Machine, Mr. Super-Prepared.  The whole point of his campaign was that while everyone else wasting their time, Bloomberg was in some secret training cell with the absolute best staffers money can buy, training for his moment.  He needed to execute.

Instead, he flopped big-time, and proved that this whole notion that he's some super-prepared, hyper-competent machine was just an illusion.

I disagree. Michael R. Bloomberg Inc. had an excellent debate performance and all the kids are talking about it on the social medias tonight. He is the most viable candidate in this election and is the last line of defense standing between America and Bernard "Kulak Killer" Sanders. Deal with it haters!

Disgusting how vicious the other democrats have been to Bloomberg. We can't be dividing the party and attacking other democrats. We all need to unite to take on Trump.

Anyway, that rat B*rnie S*nders needs to frick off! Take his brainless bros with him! We don't need people who insult candidates and supporters!

Welcome aboard fellow Bloomburger! How much are they paying you?

Mike's paying me well enough in his promise to landslide Drumpf Wink

(Though I did get a nice envelope with $1000 in it along with my Marie Claire this month).

Is this some sort of eastern saying? I'd never heard this before until I joined Atlas.

This has been the most pointless campaign in modern political history. Yes, more so than John Delaney's.
