They (Ukrainian government) are trying to press clirics from Ukrainian Orthodox Church of Moscow Patriarchate to participate in Church Unification Council (right now, only 1-2 clirics of that Church have agreed to participate)

There is a war between Ukraine and Russia. They chose to align themselves to a Russian church rather than a Ukrainian one. That is enough to raise suspicions during a war.

Must I remember you most Allies countries put most Germans and Japanese people into camps during WW2?

That church was the single legitimate Ukrainian Orthodox until very recently. So no, not all people of this church "allies themself with Russia". Some, from east regions, maybe, but others (from West Ukraine) are very anti-Russian and hawkish.

By the way, Poroshenko himself was in this Church before 2014.
