For some reason at one point in high school I attended a meeting that then- Minister of Industry Jose Manuel Soria did with students, and we managed to get a chance at asking him questions.
My question was something along the lines of "Are you worried about the increasind devaluing of politicians after all the recent corruption scandals?". His answer was that yes, he was worried and that politics needed to be cleaned up.
Literally only 1 month later; Minister Soria resigned in disgrace after the Panama Papers scandal where he had an offshore tax account.
