Not irrelevant at all. Idaho and Wyoming had the same caucus system, with only one caucus location per county. This requires a very powerful organization to win. The comparison is very apt.
Hillary didn't contest Idaho at all and Obama held a rally there.
Bill spent a day or two in Wyoming earlier this week.
Hillary didn't make an effort in Idaho, plus it probably has even fewer democrats that Wyoming. WY currently has a democratic governor and ALMOST had a democratic congressman, while ID hasn't had a democrat elected to federal or statewide office in over a decade IIRC.
