Quebec Secession becomes less likely with each passing decade and with each lost referendum. Immigrants who want to be Canadian and speak English are moving into Canada at a rapid pace, even into Quebec. At the same time, the French-Quebecois population has a low birthrate. A hundred years from now, French will only be spoken in a few remote rural areas, and the idea of Quebec secession will be forgotten or looked upon as laughable.
