It's been clear from the beginning that Jeb is only running because his family and their supporters expect him to, and his heart isn't in it. Running a losing campaign would have been bad enough, but he's been completely humiliated so badly that his epic fail of a campaign has pretty much guaranteed that there will never be another Bush Presidency.
