Romney wins given how the liberal wing of the dems bolts for Nader, Sheehan or Bloomberg. A "populist" is *not* the kind of candidate the dems need(the GOP is moving towards becoming a populist party and the dems would do better to snap up the votes the GOP isn't chasing anymore(rockefeller republicans, gypsy moth republicans, suburban economic cons/social moderates, libertarians etc))

Cute map dude but you realize that a lefty third party candidate would split the dems and push Romney over the top. Then the economy goes south and there's tanks in the streets. I don't need to elaborate from there do I?

The problem is... what if Edwards tries a populist type campaign and not necessarily a liberal focused one?
