I do seem to tend to irritate him for whatever reason, but I don't hold that against him. That perhaps is but a reflection of his well honed perspicacity.
I find myself frequently taking Xahar's side when he does express disagreement with you. I believe this partly has to do with how our perspectives on life in the US differs from that of your birth cohort and from the majority of this forum. Other members have privately confided in me on their perception of demographic divides within the Leipverse as well.

You're the only other poster I know of who is around the same age as me (give or take up to 24 months), grew up connected to 2 drastically different cultures, was raised in a (relatively in my case) heavily Asian suburban area, attended a public flagship university, has lived in both the West Coast and the South, and is a D-avatar.
