Here are the reasons why I really don't care about this controversy, and this is from someone who was keeping track of Niles because he had some interesting analysis.
#1 It is not obvious the age of the person she was responding to, and being a teenager does not prevent criticism anyway.
#2 Since when is it wrong to criticize a person who has written articles for political websites?
#3 Getting called fake news is not grounds to leave twitter Niles needs to have thicker skin.
#4 There is a rule that if you can dish it you have to be able to take it. Niles was going on the offensive against her, it was not like she just randomly picked on him.
If you want to attack Green for wasting her time getting into a twitter argument that is an ok position. But people are legitimately accusing her of cyber bullying and trying to get her banned. Many of the same types of people who attacked Nicholas Sandman as well. I find it hilarious.
