This election resembles one of Franklin Roosevelt's landslides, but I'm not absolutely certain how to explain the results in Appalachia or in Michigan.
The map was representing a possible Smith v Hoover rematch in 1932 at the height of the Depression – I tried to make it reasonably easy to guess.
