Blue: Eastern Washington

Dark red: Amount of Seattle needed to cancel out McCain's margin in Eastern Washington

Bright red: Additional Seattle (in addition to dark red, that is) needed to cancel out Rossi's 2010 margin in Eastern Washington.

New York City vs. McCain Country:



Obama's margin in NYC is about the same as McCain's margin in all of those blue states combined.

Cheesy  Ha ha, Seattle ftw!  No wonder eastern Washington is so pissed at us.  Nice work  Smiley

Yeah, they have a major (and clearly justifiable) inferiority complex.

Eastern Washington is also a lot more Democratic than Seattle is Republican.
