Not just a prude, but a thin skinned smug prude. I wish him well, but I don't think we'll ever get on well. And I find Marokai's incessant public creeping of him distasteful. But that's not his fault. Or is it "her" fault? I have a great deal of trouble with this grammatical matter.
Someone who probably gets plenty of guff for his gender identity here and elsewhere probably doesn't mind knowing other people appreciate him as much as others needlessly mock him.
If the whole gender identity thing makes his life difficult in the real world (and I have no doubt that it does) that's very sad indeed. However, I've not seen anybody mock him for that reason here, and I very much resent your implication that I have. Any disagreements that Mr Nate and I have had have been over matters of substance, not personal identity. I sincerely did not know which pronoun he (she?) prefers. I was trying to be accomodating. Perhaps I will not in the future if it is just going to cause so much trouble. And appreciation and creeping are two discrete things. I think we would all be wise to consider the difference.
