It would be a great contest for so many reasons! Both are VERY policy oriented. Such a clear distinction in policy and willingness to discuss it intelligently. And because hating SS and Medicare is very unpalatable and Paul isn't the baby kisser type, we'd have so much less campaign fluff. Can you tell I hate folksy campaign schtick? And the best reason of all, Obama would win 1964 style.

Probably the most enthusiastic vote I'd cast for Obama.  Ron Paul is probably the most opposed to my views of any GOP candidate.

You're a Democrat in favour of the PATRIOT act, foreign wars, and cracking down on state marijuana legalization?

Those are consensus positions, but the Dems are far less inclined to do the above things the GOP.
