Maybe he can go join the Republicans now and be done with it.
There is speculation to that effect.

It wouldn't surprise me -in fact, most of the white Democratic delegation in Mississippi, Louisiana, Arkansas, Kentucky, and West Virginia would be more at home in the GOP. 
Most already have. Those all used to be overwhelmingly Democratic states. Out of all those states you know how many White Dems are in the House now? 0 in MS, 0 in LA, 1 in AR, 2 in KY, and 1 in WV. And the GOP has 7 of the 10 Senate Seats.
