In my 25+ years in WA, we've had one notable earthquake, zero volcanic eruptions, and zero tsunamis. Florida has had dozens of hurricanes.
Yeah but you can see a hurricane coming a week away. Subterranean threats are by surprise. Cascaria subduction zone is locked and loaded and has been building stress since 1700. Rainier is looming large behind SeaTac and it’s not worth living in a place with 55° beach water and s constant cool cloudy clinate
