It’s becoming more and more obvious that the parties are going to do their utmost to lie cheat and steal wherever they have power.
And no, ‘independent commissions’ will not save anything because ultimately there’s always a way a person can impact things. Thank Mathis for forever destroying any hope there might have been in independent commissions being a fair path forward.
We won’t get past these insanely stupid partisan battles until we figure out a way to turn everything over to computers. I get that there needs to be an agreement in place prior to that happening, but once it does it’ll be such a breathe of fresh air that this whole horrible process is finished forever.
May Elbridge Gerry burn in hell.
