As much as I hate to think about it, I'm gonna guess that Tulsi will just... Tulsi along 'til the convention.

Dear Mayor Pete:

I have a lot of respect for you as person and politician. You are smart, talented, well articulated and you ran an inspiring campaign on the right issues and solutions to fix national and international problems. You have given so many a voice and been a champion for the LGBT community and beyond. But given the state of the race, I have a hard time to see a path for the nomination. It's vitally important to nominate a mainstream Democrat who is able to defeat the most inept, corrupt and dangerous president of our lifetimes, and beyond that, take back the senate, govern and deliver real and practical solutions. Mayor Pete, you have a bright future in politics, and therefore you may consider to endorse former Vice President Joseph R. Biden to be the standard bearer of the Democratic Party. The world needs him in charge of the White House. I'm sure, as president, Joe Biden will have a place for you in his team that allows you to sharpen your profile as a national leader, work on issues you care about; with a real possibility to become a transformative president in the future.

Sincerely, a fellow moderate hero

Thank you, President Johnson. He obviously heard your call &, more importantly, heeded it.

A friend of mine who donated to the Buttigieg campaign early on was telling me he got 11 texts yesterday asking for more money; I guess he didn't think he raised enough to continue forward. I'm surprised he's leaving before Amy.

Some people put doing what's best for their country ahead of their own egos, not that Klobuchar would know the first thing about that.

I'm not so sure about that. If the subtext of this text from her camp that my mom just forwarded to me is to be believed, then this night is about to be even better for Joe Biden than it already was.

Hmm ... sad.

But totally to be expected after the last few days.

I already predicted last week that by Friday probably only Biden, Sanders and maybe Bloomberg and Gabbard will remain in the race. Warren and Klobuchar are likely next.

And I already thought that something was in the bushes after reading that by Saturday only 60% of the ST fundraising goal was met (6 million) vs. the 48 million for Bernie.

It was still a good campaign, with the potential to be Obama style. But not with 10s of other candidates such as Bernie, Biden Warren etc. in the race.

There was no potential for him to be a new Obama once it was clear that he wasn't gonna be developing any credibility among black voters, regardless of the "10s of other candidates."
