Manchin endorsed Hillary on 01/29/2014, Nelson on 12/18/2014, & Warner on 08/05/2014, all before the idea of endorsing an anti-establishment alternative even entered anybody's head IRL, so (considering Webb himself also ran IRL) what makes these endorsements change??

I was wrong with Warner and Nelson, I guess. I chose Warner because he was a fellow Virginian Senator and Nelson because he was a moderate and a military veteran. Manchin, on the other hand, did not outright endorse Hillary in that video. Hillary was a somewhat different politician in 2014. Keep in mind, West Virginia overwhelmingly supported her in the primaries in 2008, but overwhelmingly destroyed her in the 2016 primaries. It wouldn't be too hard for Manchin to endorse Senator Webb over her due to her shifting beliefs.

Ok, thanks; yeah, sorry for looking into these uber-specific minor details lol, they just generally interest me.
