Norfolk County, Massachusetts:

1976: Jimmy Carter
1980: Ronald Reagan
1984: Ronald Reagan
1988: Michael Dukakis
1992: Bill Clinton
1996: Bill Clinton
2000: Al Gore 59%-34%
2004: John Kerry 60%-39%
2008: Barack Obama 58%-40%
2012: Barack Obama 57%-42%
2016: Hillary Clinton 60%-33%

(I'm not a member, so I can't get county data before 2000)

Brief explanation: Despite bordering Boston, Norfolk County isn't nearly as "we're-right-next-to-Boston" (except for Brookline) as eastern Middlesex and Essex Counties are, largely because Norfolk isn't adjacent to downtown Boston. It's primarily a rich, white county (not lily white, it hovers around 80%) in most towns and cities except for Braintree, Quincy, and Randolph- the former two are "big cities" and Randolph is a majority-minority city of around 30,000 people. It's also a core part of the Irish Riviera, as more than 30% of the overall population is of Irish extraction. That latter part can explain why the already Democratic stronghold county swung for Hillary this year, as Irish people love the Clintons because Bill was president when the Good Friday Agreement was brokered (however, the younger generation cannot connect with this because Generation Z was barely around in 1998). Although it primarily votes Democratic, it's not ultra-liberal outside of Brookline and Trump could easily win many towns in the county (although winning it as a whole is virtually impossible outside of an earthslide) if he does good in 2020.

Norfolk County, Massachusetts

Straight Republican from 1876-1956 except for Teddy Roosevelt in 1912, then straight Democratic from 1960 onwards except for Reagan in 1980 and 1984.
