Kavanaugh is unpopular because he has more skeletons in his closet than most staunch conservative judges. Gorsuch, Alito, and Roberts don't have scandals of the same magnitude as Kavanaugh.

Gorsuch and Hardiman are very conservative, but don't have skeletons in their closet like Kavanaugh.
