I'm turning 60 later this year, and here have been ten presidential elections that I could have voted in. But I have only voted in six elections; the four I didn't vote were 1984, 2004, 2008, and 2012.
When I was 20, I just wasn't interested in politics yet. In Dec. 2002, I resolved to never vote again for the rest of my life. That was because of how disgusted I was with the Bush v. Gore decision.
