German media quoting a spokesman for a Ukrainian intel service who suggests it could have been an inside job by Russian authorities to blame it on Ukraine. I honestly thought about that as well, even though I would be extremely cautious with such accusations. Putin may be ruthless enough to pull the trigger here, but he would have to be 200% certain that the truth never surfaces.

Apparently the US Embassy and other Western diplomats warned in recent weeks a terror attack could occur. The Kremlin and Russian authorities dennounced these warnings as "provocation" and "Western propaganda".
