I personally would favor a constitutional amendment to make it that confirmation is not required if the incumbent is being retained. That rule is already in place for the cabinet and not really sure why it needs to be different here.
On the matter actually before the body, I do support the nomination.
Considering that with an impeding reform proposal that will likely render the position moot in the coming months, I don't believe that is a necessary step.
Regarding Falterin's nomination, he's been an absolute godsend and I'm eager to get back to working with him ASAP.
