A POWERful Scenario

As some of you know, there's a political game called POWER that simulates, to a degree, American politics. Based on current partisan leanings in the game, I'm going to draw out a scenario for the 2016 elections, and beyond. This timeline will likely be quite unrealistic, however.

I will make some changes to the above map to determine party strength in each state. Firstly, all 3rd parties will be disregarded. Secondly, party strength will be determined by the absolute margin between the Democratic and Republican parties. I hope to have a preliminary map up soon.

30% on map = 0-2% margin
40% on map = 2-5% margin
50% on map = 5-8% margin
60% on map = 8-15% margin
70% on map = >15% margin
