She will be the 23rd woman and 6th female Republican in the U.S. Senate.

Anyone know what her general views are? What does she think about abortion, gay marriage, worker's rights, etc.?

Cook moved the Special to LEAN R-

Color me skeptical, but Espy is a pretty strong candidate and the internals might be painting a picture none of us are seeing. Hyde is still favored in the runoff of course.

If this was settled by an actual brawl, Espy would destroy Hyde-Smith.

Yes a fully grown man would beat a woman in a physical brawl bagel.

Stellar observation.
I was hoping I wasn’t the only one who saw something wrong with that.

If Hyde-Smith wasn't a lock before, she is now.

Wait a minute, is "Healthcare" a new item for him to mention in these endorsements? We know the border, loves the vets, 2A etc.

The GOP got crushed in the midterms on HealthCare, he's trying to flip the tables on the Democrats.

Leah Rupp Smith, who is spokeswoman for the MS secretary of state's office said turnout has been "steady but slow".

It apparently is aiming at 30-40%, which isn't really *slow* since Nov 6th was 50%.

Yeah, this seems pretty impressive for MS in a special since the state is one of the worst for turnout.

CHS is definitely not winning 60% of the vote here.

CHS @ 6 with 4% in overall.

No idea what to make of this.

CHS is a weak candidate who probably won't survive a primary in two years?

What's pretty cool is that Espy didn't shy away from his Democratic label and he's still making this pretty close for a senate race in Mississippi. Bodes nicely for Jim Hood.
