Best not to regard it as such a joke when he has his finger on said arsenal of nukes.

In regards to the media comments, it's more of a joke than something to take seriously, but yeah with NK we should take what he says seriously

I think probably a good rule of thumb to avoiding a dictatorship is to take everything a potential dictator says and does quite seriously.

I don’t find comedy in a joke of a “man” threatening the free press because that same “man” is our president.

I guess. But Trump pretty much just thrives on high-scale reactions and people paying attention to him (example: NFL kneeling)

I get what you mean, I just don’t think that kind of talk should be disregarded when coming from someone in power even if it’s probably not something meant to be a serious threat.
