I believe it's center + electoral reform.
I think I read that they're conservative on social issues but liberal on economic, but I might be wrong. Also, if McMullin does join forces with the UUP, they could have a shot at a senate seat depending on who the Republicans nominate.

Yeah, I guess "socially liberal" isn't a correct description. They seem to be like those kind of Republicans that are just slightly more moderate on certain issues but don't really separate themselves.
