Donald Trump announced his campaign for the Republican nomination for POTUS two years ago today.

Hardly anyone thought he could win the primaries or the general election back then. Jeb Bush was still the de facto presumptive nominee. How different the nation was only two years ago.

Anyone remember when there was a conspiracy theory that Trump was sent by Clinton to win the primaries and make her president?

I never thought Trump could win, and this theory was always sitting in the back of my head...

I think he timed it just to overshadow Jeb, I mean announcing the day after the presumptive frontrunner?  Tell me that's a coincidence with a straight face I dare you.
Yeah, that's what I thought as well, especially as the attacks progressed.

I woke up on election day and nearly vomited, thinking about the Hillary presidency and the Democratic Senate. I showed up to the Trump election night party in NYC, depressed, and the mood was like that of a funeral. Oh how things changed rapidly in just a few hours. It was the night that we saved America from Obama's 3rd term, European style socialism, open borders, radical Islam, liberal Supreme Court, high taxes and regulations.
I was in the same position. I was at a Rubio party that was also pretty much a Trump party. I knew Rubio would win but thought it would be a depressing night on the presidential level. However, the night got better as Trump continued to win, and seeing Rubio winning by so much gave me some hope. When they called FL, everyone screamed so loudly it looked like New Years. I still get chills thinking about it (and watching the video)
