Senator Pete Wilson, Robert Kennedy, Senator Howard Baker,  Rep. Chris Cox, Rep. Dana Rohrabacher, Rep. Bob Dornan,  Alphonzo Bell,  Rep. Antonio Delgado, Rep. Roman Pucinski,  Senator Ralph Smith (Illinois), Rep. Barry Goldwater, Jr., Rep. James Corman and Max Rafferty, are the federal office holders or would have been that come to mind. I also met attorney general William French Smith. Oh, and governor Andre Cuomo.  The closest I got to meeting a President, was Ronald Reagan called my grandmother to wish her a happy 95th birthday. Reagan was a friend of my aunt. They were both right wingers in Hollywood.

Other than shaking hands (e.g. Robert Kennedy the day before he was assassinated), the one I actually spent some time taking to that is highest up the food chain was Pete Wilson of California. I have spoken to my Congressman Delgado early on in his  campaign. Ronald Reagan called my grandmother in 1981 to wish her a happy 96th birthday. Reagan and my aunt where long time friends from their days as Hollywood actors way back when.
