I hereby declare my candidacy for Pacific region senator. I am informed that this is the proper venue to do so, by Mr. Moderate.  My platform is sensible, constrained, cautious, centrist, and independent of the partisan cant that despoils the most fruited place on the Fruited Plain! Or something like that.  Smiley

Is that some other hurdle imposed by the leviathon state? Here I am offering myself, and suddenly it looks like that scene from Chariots of Fire. At least there each hurdle there had a glass of champaign on it! Smiley Shucks.
